"How Much Do I Need?"
1¾” Clean Recycled Stone is a type of eco-friendly aggregate made by processing and repurposing used construction materials like concrete, bricks, and other debris. This sustainable material is typically free of fines, which allows for better drainage, making it suitable for applications such as landscaping, drainage systems, and erosion control.

To determine how much 1¾” Clean Recycled Stone you need for a project, follow these steps:

1. Measure the area you want to cover in square feet. To do this, simply multiply the length (in feet) by the width (in feet). For example, if you have a 10-foot by 20-foot area, the square footage would be 200 square feet (10 ft x 20 ft = 200 sq ft).

2. Determine the desired depth of the 1¾” Clean Recycled Stone layer. This may vary depending on the specific application. For example, a depth of 3 to 4 inches is typically recommended for a drainage layer or landscaping project.

3. Convert the desired depth to feet. For example, if you want a 3-inch layer, divide 3 by 12 (since there are 12 inches in a foot) to get 0.25 feet.

4. Multiply the square footage of the area (calculated in step 1) by the desired depth in feet (calculated in step 3) to obtain the volume in cubic feet. For example, if you have 200 square feet of area and want a 3-inch layer, you would need 50 cubic feet of 1¾” Clean Recycled Stone (200 sq ft x 0.25 ft = 50 cu ft).

5. To convert cubic feet to tons, you will need to know the specific weight of the stone, which is typically provided by the supplier. The weight can vary depending on the source material and processing methods, but a common weight for clean recycled stone is around 1.4 tons per cubic yard (or about 0.052 tons per cubic foot).

6. Multiply the volume in cubic feet (calculated in step 4) by the weight per cubic foot (from step 5) to determine the total weight in tons. For example, if you need 50 cubic feet of 1¾” Clean Recycled Stone with a weight of 0.052 tons per cubic foot, you would need 2.6 tons (50 cu ft x 0.052 tons/cu ft = 2.6 tons).

With this information, you can calculate the amount of 1¾” Clean Recycled Stone needed for any project in terms of square footage, depth, and weight.

Great service, product, and price

I had not tried "recycled" aggregate/ stone before. I ordered 10 tons. The product is fantastic. When my neighbors saw what I received, they asked a reference to Parkway Aggregates. The company communication, service, and prices are also exceptional. I am sure I will be doing business with them again. Highly recommended (Foristell, MO)
